Another great week on the campaign trail! The Korean American community hosted a fundraiser for Senator to be, Mark Kirk. Over 200 Korean Americans were in attendance. Congratulations to Mayor Roger Claar for another successful weekend at Bolingbrook Days. Thanks to Prem Lalvani, a leader in the Asian American community and a fire and police commissioner in Bolingbrook, for introducing me around.
New Trier Township Republican Chairman and State Central Commiteeman Tolbert Chisum had a standing room only crowd at the NTRO Wine and Cheese event in Northfield. What an unbelievable turnout!
Please join us on July 4th to celebrate our nation’s birthday. Our campaign will start the parade schedule early at 8am in Vernon Hills, then head to Wheaton and end up in Northbrook at 2pm. Please join us! Details will be released on Facebook.
The Democrats are running scared, but that’s no reason for us to get complacent. We need to move forward-not for us or for Republicans, but for ALL ILLINOISIANS! We have too much to lose on November 2nd if we don’t make the right decisions.
We are all responsible for the future of Illinois, and on November 2nd, we all will have a decision to make: do we remain in our lackluster position as an anemic economic state or do we move forward with new ideas and innovative initiatives to move Illinois forward? The choice is ours!
Congratulations to Team USA for winning their group in the World Cup and advancing to the next round. Even though there were troubling calls by the referees, Team USA fought hard and demonstrated true American spirit and courage!
On behalf of the “Kim for Attorney General” campaign, I would like to wish all fathers a Happy Father’s Day. Fathers teach us right from wrong, how to care for one another, and the importance of being thankful for the blessings God has provided us. Our fathers teach us so much and help all of us become better men and women. These are challenging days in our country, but our fathers’ love and loyalty give us all the courage and perseverance to forge ahead and work harder to make this country a better place for all. Again, much thanks and love to all the fathers for making our lives brighter.
On a personal note, I would like to thank my father for all his hard work and dedication to this campaign. Without his advice and guidance, I would not be the man I am today.
Corruption in Illinois is being highlighted in former Gov. Blagojevich’s trial. This is an utter embarrassment for the people of Illinois and underscores why Illinois has lost over 700,000 jobs in the past 10 years and over 200,000 jobs in the past year and a half since Pat Quinn has taken over as Governor.
The question that all Illinois residents must ask is, “where were all our State Constitutional officials when Mr. Blagojevich was breaking laws.” Why didn’t they stand up and fight the corruption led by the former Governor. This November, Illinois citizens need to take a stand and vote for leaders that are not entrenched in the political system and leaders with new ideas that will bring about true and real change in Illinois.
I’ve had a wonderful time traveling throughout Illinois this past week. Congratulations to Gin Wray for organizing the first “Shot Heard Round the State” event in the western part of Illinois. Also, the Fulton County chairman had a good turnout at a picnic in Canton, Illinois. It was great speaking to the people of the Fulton County.
Congratulations to our congressional candidate for the 8th district, Joel Pollack for receiving the endorsement of legendary Harvard Law Professor, Alan Dershowitz. Professor Dershowitz was the guest speaker at Joel’s event in Chicago-what a wonderful turnout!
It was an honor for me today to meet with Governor Jeb Bush, the son of President George H.W. Bush and younger brother of President George W. Bush. Like myself, Governor Bush is fearful that the country is heading toward European style socialism where free market principles, competition and opportunities are blunted. We must embrace competition, less regulation, lower taxes, and an economic environment where businesses can flourish and not be stymied by government. Government’s role is not to pick the winners and losers in industry.
Let’s all work together in November so that the leaders we elect will embrace freedom and opportunity! We need to elect those that make a pledge of ending corruption for good in our great state!
Thank you for all the wonderful support,
I have been included as a GOP candidate who is “breaking new ground” by gop.com!
Rod Blagojevich has been playing the angry jester for months now, blubbering his innocence of federal charges on reality TV, shrieking on the radio, promising to revenge himself upon his enemies, vowing a return to prominence…

Congratulations to Cook County GOP Chairman, Lee Roupas, for a successful Lincoln Day dinner. It was great to see so many people in the Streeterville area of Chicago come out to support the Republican ticket!
There will be a major fundraiser for our campaign on June 5 at 6pm at the Lakeview Room, 2400 Chestnut in Glenview, Illinois. As all of you know, campaigns are very expensive. We need to get our positive message out there and raising funds is very necessary. To entice those that may be on the fence, the food will be delicious-it will be a mixture of various popular Asian cuisines. So come by and enjoy good food with great company.
