Thank you for visiting my web site to learn more about my candidacy for Illinois Attorney General. As a practicing attorney, former township trustee and former advisor to Governor Jim Edgar, I know how government can help citizens and business and how it can hurt them.
Illinois citizens face economic hardships and struggle each month to live within their means. Yet, government rarely lives within its means. In addition to the budget crisis Illinois faces, our business climate suffers because of the poor perception of our State.
What Illinois needs is fresh leadership and new ideas. I'm proud to be the first Asian American candidate for Illinois Attorney General in Illinois. The Asian American community's experience and success in this country illustrates the best of what America is—and can be. I invite you to learn more about me and the campaign through our website. I would like to thank all you who voted in the primary election. Participating in elections is the most important civic duty we can perform as Americans. Now is when the work begins!!! The November general election will be challenging, but with your support and hard work we can have a Scott Brown like victory in Illinois. Illinois is facing enormous challenges with unprecedented unemployment levels at 11% and a budget deficit of over $11 billion. Now is the time that Illinois voters demand change and elect leaders with fresh ideas that will revolutionize State government and once again make Illinois a great place to live and work.
Please note that I will be heading to Asia from February 5-14 for business. I believe your next Attorney General must understand how businesses operate, and therefore I will be representing small and medium size Illinois businesses as they seek to sell their products overseas and bring jobs into Illinois.
